Frequently Asked Questions

Each Session is 5 days from Monday through Friday 9am-4pm.

1. Is transportation to Ramp U offered?
For those families that live further away from Ramp U we will be happy to assist you with any transportation needs both to and from the camp each day.

2. I am concerned that my child does not have enough skateboarding experience to be in the camp?
Please do not be concerned at all. The range of skill levels amongst the campers ranges from having never been on a board to being very comfortable riding. We are fully prepared to instruct and have fun with any level of skater. Our philosophy is that everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience regardless of their ability. There is absolutely no reason to be intimidated and we encourage you to contact us if you have any concerns.

3. When is my payment due?
Half your tuition is due upon registration and the balance is due on or before May 1, 2012.

We can also set you up with a payment plan with a credit card.

We accept cash, checks, debit cards and MC, VISA, AMEX
and DISC.

4. Do you offer any discounts?
We will waive the Registration fee ($50) for all applications submitted prior to May 1, 2012.

5. Can we bring a guest for a day?
Absolutely. You can bring a friend to camp for a day for $135/day. We only accept single day campers if they are accompanying a registered camper.

6. How much skateboarding experience is required?
We welcome all skill levels of skateboarders. Parents are expected to evaluate their 7 to 15 year old prior to enrollment. We expect all participants to arrive with a positive attitude - ready to make new friends and learn new skills. We'll be waiting for them with enthusiasm and fun activities!

7. Can I get a refund?
Yes. Prior to May 1st full refunds are given. Unfortunately, after May 1st, no portion of the tuition fee will be refunded or waived by Ramp University and/or Training Wheels of NE, Inc. While we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise which prevent your child from coming to camp on a given day, refunds will not be given for missed days. In the event that your child is unable to attend a day that he/she is registered for, we will be happy to reschedule him/her on another day based on availability. No refunds will be made after May 1st.

8. Is lunch provided?
Ramp U Campers The choice is yours. For a fee of $10/day we will provide the campers with lunch which is usually purchased at Subway. You can also choose to bring lunch if you prefer. We will be happy to keep the lunch refrigerated if necessary. If your child is allergic to peanuts, please let us know when you register and we will notify parents that peanut based products will be prohibited while your child is at RAMP U.

9. Are helmets mandatory?
Yes. The campers must wear helmets while skateboarding. You are welcome to bring your own or borrow ours.
