Transportation Options
Families from Hingham and surrounding towns:
We have arranged for Pride Limousine of Hingham to transport up to 10 campers from Hingham Middle School (exit 14 off Route 3) to Ramp U in Plympton each day. The fee is $100/week per camper. We do need 10 campers registered in order for this to take place. Currently we have approximately 3 campers each week from Hingham and hope that we can reach 10 in order to make this convenient arrangement happen.
Families from Boston and along the commuter train to Halifax:
We have arranged Ramp University staff members to personally escort all campers choosing to travel to us via the commuter train from South Station. A Ramp U staff member will meet the campers in South Station each morning and continue on the 8:56am train. The train also has stops in Quincy, Braintree, South Weymouth, Abington, Whitman, Hanson and Halifax. Ramp U is minutes away from the Halifax stop and our staff will insure a safe, convenient transport for all campers throughout the commute. We will also personally escort all campers from Ramp U back to South Station (with reverse stops) arriving at 4:59pm each day. The fee is $100/week per camper.
Families from Cape Cod:
We have arranged transportation to and from Cape Cod - Ramp U each day with the Ramp University Camp Director. The stops are in Orleans and Barnstable. The fee is $100/week per camper.
Local Families:
Of course you can drive your child to camp too. Drop off at Ramp U is at 9am and pick up is at 4pm.

Ramp University is on Route 106 in Plympton and just a few miles from Route 3 and Route 44. Plympton borders Carver, Kingston, Halifax and Middleboro.

From Boston: Take Route 3 South to exit 10. At end of ramp go right. At first set of lights turn left onto Route 3A South towards Kingston/Plymouth. After crossing railroad tracks take immediate right onto Evergreen Street. At the lights this street will turn into Wapping Road, Rt. 106. Stay on Wapping Road Rt. 106 approximately 5 miles. Ramp U is located on right side across from the self storage facility.
From Cape Cod: Take Route 3 North to exit 9. At end of ramp turn right onto Route 3A North towards Kingston. Approximately 2 miles turn left on Main Street Rt. 27. At lights turn left onto Wapping Road Rt. 106. Stay on Wapping Road Rt. 106 approximately 5 miles. Ramp U is located on right side across from the self storage facility.
From Route 495: Take Exit 6 Route 44 E. In 1/2 mile enter rotary. Take 3rd right off the rotary which is Route 44 E. Travel 7.9 miles. Exit at Route 58 to Plympton. At end of the ramp take a left onto Route 58 (Main Street). At 2.5 miles turn right onto Main Street. Follow 2 miles to the end of the road. Turn right onto Route 106 (county road). Ramp U is 100 yards on the left.
